Hot, sunny midday (1000 hours - 1230 hours) in the four-mile stretch of right-of-way between Hwy 301 and Carville Price Rd. Abundant nectar: Joe-pye weed, Mikania, ironweed, jewelweed, thistle. Much of the habitat is damp with sedges and turtlehead.
