One-and-half-hour walk, 9—10:30 a.m.
Already temperatures in the mid-80s.
Zebra Swallowtails: Some very worn individuals, but many more fresh with long tails. Presumed transition from 2nd to 3rd broods.
Surprised no Cabbage Whites nor Sulphurs nor Vanessa species.
No Monarchs either, but saw one later flying over Route 40 while driving back into Delaware.
