Hook Mt. & Long Path trail, 2.5 mile walk on ridge.
Rockland County, NY

afternoon visit, noon-4. Falcates along trail & adjacent open areas with rock cresses. Spring Azures mineralizing a bit. E.Tiger Swallowtails in superbly fresh condition, very active however. American Ladys not in pristine condition, likely are migrants. Full sun, no clouds, 50s to 60+ F. with light northerly breeze, inhibiting “migration”.
Wildflowers near ridge still in minimal number or variety with a few exceptions.
