Hessel's Hairstreak
Sunny; high in the upper 50s. Hessel’s Hairstreak found puddling at 1:30 pm along a muddy and mossy trail through a Carolina bay forest with scattered mature Atlantic White Cedar and a dense evergreen shrub layer. Few nectar sources nearby.
