Sighting for March 12, 2016

I can’t believe how happy I am to see this guy (or girl). I am almost positive this is the butterfly that was seen by me in the fall trying to find a nice place to overwinter in my house shingles over a period of a few days. Anyway, today I was outside on my patio and was startled when I flushed it. It landed again on the patio in the sun. It flew off a few seconds later. I hope I can get a photo of it soon.
