I was on a field trip with a group led by Linda and Buck Cooper. We were having lunch at McAllen Nature Center and Linda received a notification on her phone that the Silver Emperor had been spotted in the back garden at NBC. It was still there when our group arrived and we were treated to a real beauty. I learned the angle and light has to be just so to capture the blue flash!
