New Sighting
breezy/sunny mid 70s. Hard to get exact counts as things were really moving/blowing around. First time I noticed checkered Whites here; the ones nearby at the west end of Jones Beach State Park had all expired about ten days ago after a strong nor’easter over several days; this species is having a strong year in LI/NYC area.
