I am unlikely to see a day like this again soon. The late season butterfly diversity was good: 18 species in 3.5 hours. Highlights included my first Mourning Cloak since spring, my first Albemarle Painted Lady this season, and numerous sulphurs (though no Cloudless), Cabbage Whites, Variegated Frits, and Eastern Commas/Question Marks.
