Meadow Habitat on Mt. Shasta’s eastern side is one of my favorite butterfly locations. There is a small population of Tawny-Edged Skipper in those meadows. The trick is to find them! Thanks to Dennis Holmes for finding these elusive skippers! These are the only meadows in the state of California where you can find them.
