With Karen Finch (photos),Melanie Weiss, Jean and Bill Evoy. Temp. 90F, partly cloudy; 6 hours in the field. Slow skipper day even though 100s of Pickerel Weed plants were in bloom. Recent controlled burn had scorched park vegetation along park road for about 1 mi. Brazilian Skippers were in larval form.
