Pine Elfin is rarely seen here. Maybe my 5th or 6th in over 20 years of observing. Overall down numbers of both species and individuals - -No Cobwebs or Dusted - - holding out hope they show up later. 3 Harris’ Checkerspot caterpillars at end of Michigan road in their appointed spot. Park Mgmt. has agree to let some of this habitat to expand into formerly cut areas.
