Sighting for August 17, 2022

Speedy, erratic duskywing flying low around the pollinator garden. This duskywing has reddish tones on dorsal side; dark basal area; no dark “fingers” outside the subapicals; last subapical widely separated from the others. A first for this area, this far north.

The day was hot and breezy, approximately 85º, sunny to partly cloudy.
