A mix of sun and clouds, increasingly overcast and shady, with temperature at about 58° when I started at 10:40am and in the low-sixties at 1:20pm as I ended. I returned to Flattop hoping to find a Phoebus Parnassian after seeing one two days ago. Most of my time was spent in the meadow I had observed it but I didn’t manage to find one today. It was a very pretty day to be out, with fairly good butterfly activity considering the cooler temperatures.
