Sunny, 70°, and breezy from 6:30 to 7:10pm. I checked my usual spots along the Coastal Trail - an area I usually visit in June and July - for Greenish Blues and Western Tailed-Blues but found none. While walking back I met up with my wife and pointed out a spot that looks great for butterflies, but where I never see any. On cue, a little Western Tailed-Blue fluttered down through the grass to prove me wrong.
