Primary purpose was to do another Monarch survey and to look for wild milkweed. Drove/walked about 12 miles on gravel roads without retracing my path. Most of the Monarchs were on the more eastern side of the WMA. The counts are pretty close.
I think this was the FOY Gulf Fritillary here and I saw only one. There will be many more of this attractive species.
