Sighting for February 18, 2022

David H. Bartholomew

Sunol-Ohlone Regional Wilderness
Alameda County, CA

Mid-60’s, dry. No roadside seeps or mud puddles.

Orange Sulphurs were barely Ringlet-sized. Also of interest to me, one Margined White was nectaring on Purple Nightshade, and a Variable Checkerspot adult is quite early.
