New Sighting
With David Rawlinson, John Hibbard, Sarab Seth, and Tom Peterson. Reasonably nice weather but a bit breezy. Just a few butterflies seen, unfortunately no San Bruno Elfins, our hoped-for species.
22 Checkerspot caterpillars seen, probably all chalcedona. Also, 2 hilltopping Blues not stopping for ID.
