Surprised to see the Long-tailed Skipper nectaring on old or dead looking blossoms instead of any of the other nectar in the gardens. 4 Spicebush Swallowtail chrysalises in the yard. Monarch Chrysalises also here.
Eggs laid on cassia by Cloudless Sulphur. Black Swallowtail, caterpillars on host plant. <onarchs continue to migrate through Cape May County and my yard. Monarchs tagged in the yard today by CMBO naturalists.
