John and Nancy Crosby

10 miles South of Woodbine where Crooked River crosses Hwy 17 just South of Epiphany Anglican Church
Camden County, GA

We had planned to access the Woodbine Greenway Trail (a historic location for Dukes Skipper) but it was overgrown (old rail bed). Wildflowers on Hwy 17 right of way near the bridge provided a lot of butterfly activity. White Peacock was a surprise, we have only seen these on Georgia’s barrier islands and beaches. We saw it oviposting perhaps on water hyssops.
