John and Nancy Crosby

Hwy 17 just south of Altamaha WMA & across from Mudcat Charlie Restaurant sign.
McIntosh County, GA

Targeting Dukes Skipper seen here historically nectaring on Buttonbush and/or pickerelweed in July, Sept and October. We found fresh buttonbush and pickerelweed but no Dukes Skipper in the wetlands along the woods with sedge grasses. Cloudless Sulphurs were oviposting on Senna. The Least Skipper and Palamedes were seen along Hwy 17 North of Darien, GA in the edges of the great Dismal Swamp where there were lots of Buttonbush blooming.
