Outside team for Highland Hammock State Park NABA butterfly count covers roadsides in both Highlands and Hardee Cos. 9 am-4:30 pm; 79°-92°; winds 7-13 mph. Unexpected were the numbers of Mallow Scrub Hr & 3-Spotted Skippers. Nectar: Bidens alba, Spermacoce verticillata, Phyla nodiflora, Hyptis alata, Cirsium nuttallii, Latex Vine/Plant, Phasey Pea, Blue Porterweed, Plumbago auriculata. LCooper, SFarnsworth, NPrine.
