Great day in the garden, sunny, 65, with 5-6 MPH wind. Did some yard work while checking out the butterflies. Noted an increase of Monarch’s mid-day so notified KH & RH who tag for the Cape May Bird Observatory in my yard. They tagged 25 Monarchs before they left with more left to tag. Excited to have a Sleepy Orange make several stops in the yard to nectar. My first here since 9/16/19. Also saw 2 Long-tailed Skippers in the yard plus a increase in Orange Sulphurs and perhaps my high number for the year for the yard but not sure. Images of all species.
