Sighting for October 13, 2019

John and Nancy Crosby

Sea Way NE, Shellman Bluff, GA
McIntosh County, GA

Today was the first time we IDed a Southern Broken-Dash in our yard! And a beautiful one at that. It is very dry except in our yard so most all the butterflies in the neighborhood are here. We worry about the Zebra Heliconias who usually nectar in the shade of the community lot which is overgrown with Snow Square Stem. The Long-tail Skippers also usually there have joined the others on our zinnias, butterfly bush, Gallarida, passion vine and more.
