Moose Creek Trail Head. From Jackson Hole, Wyoming, thru Teton Pass, proceed 1.9 miles into Idaho. Turn right on Old Jackson Hwy, then turn right & go pass Moose Creek Ranch to end of road parking lot.

Moose Creek Trail head is in Wyoming. GPS N 43.5629078, -111.0422274. The first 200 yards of the trail is where we found the butterflies. Our target was Gillette’s Checkerspot which we found and the Mariposa Copper was the only Copper we had not seen until today! This was our favorite location of our month’s travels to CO, WY, MT and UT!
