Very hot, sunny 98. Wildlife drive fogfruit, the host plant for phaon crescent and nectar source for Little Metalmarks, Banded & Oak Hairstreaks & more! (no hairstreaks today… they were waiting on it to cool off to crawl out!) The purple flower was at the meadow at the boat landing at Harris Neck where many of the species were found.
