Harris Neck NWR, Harris Neck Rd, Townsend, GA 31331
McIntosh County, GA

Midafternoon sunny 80 degrees. Jim Springer joined us as we checked out our patch of Pinewoods milkweed off the loop at mile marker 0.8 from the visitor center which is always closed to the public, a real sore spot for these past volunteers with the Woodstork Study and with the Painted Bunting study. We also checked out frogfruit and verbena on the loop.
