Today we saw 4 Columbine Duskywings all flying near and/or landing on the plants themselves. More Columbine is beginning to flower in the area so I would think that soon there may be some eggs and caterpillars present. The site is a rocky outcrop a couple miles in, on the left side of Camp 8 Rd. To get to Camp 8 Rd. go south on CTH D from the village of Grand View on HWY 63 south of Ashland. The 2 photos, except for being slightly cropped, are as the camera saw them.
