Eastern Neck NWR, Rock Hall

Beth Johnson, Tom Stock and I had a great day today at Eastern Neck NWR in Rock Hall MD (Kent Co.). Most of the leps we saw were in the Refuge butterfly garden, where nectar sources included white clover, common milkweed, orange milkweed (butterfly weed), pickerel week, coreopsis, and dogbane. The Coral Hairstreak was on common milkweed. We had 31 species for the day, including 7 FOYs in common for both me and Tom and Tom also got his FOY Red Admiral.
