Hot and muggy sunshine in the afternoon following morning rains; exploring the area with Tom Stock. Most of the time was spent at the public boat landing or a few hundred yards uphill at fallow fields supporting an abundance of dogbane and common milkweed in bloom. Easily more than 100 Banded Hairstreaks in this 3-acre area.
