9 a.m. - 3 p.m.; 81-90 degrees, sunny to partly cloudy, light winds. Scouting for upcoming field trip Oct 7. Not many wildflowers in bloom yet. Nectar sources: Pickerelweed, Bidens alba, Spermacoce, Thalia, Liatris, Mistflower. More damage in Kilpatrick Hammock from Hurricane Irma on top of tornado damage in April is sad to see.
